Our Mission
We are Colorado Mountain College students united in the belief that community grows stronger when we lift one another up.
Our immigrant friends and neighbors form the heart of our community, and their stories deserve to be heard. Our mission is to create safe spaces where their stories can be shared, celebrated, and honored.
In the U.S., nearly all of us are immigrants or descendants of immigrants. Our stories connect us to one another and to our shared history. It has been unclear, until now, how to take action and help our immigrant community. We have three action steps you can take to create positive change in our community.

Many immigrants don’t feel safe sharing their stories publicly, yet their voices and experiences deserve to be heard. Through this project, allies help share these journeys while protecting those at risk. These videos honor the resilience, hopes, and humanity that connect us all.
Every story shared brings us closer to understanding the challenges and hopes that shape each person’s path to building a life in this country. Together, we honor their courage and promise to protect their safety while celebrating their strength.
Where Your Contributions Go
We are proud partners with Mountain Dreamers in Frisco, Colorado.
We’re excited to partner with Mountain Dreamers through our fundraising merch to directly support their programs and advocacy for our immigrant community. Every purchase of #OurFriendsandNeighbors merch contributes 100% of profits to Mountain Dreamers’ work, helping create opportunities, resources, and a stronger sense of belonging for all.
While monetary donations are one of the easiest and most effective ways to help, we’ve also learned that support takes many forms. Our mountain community is home to several incredible organizations, each meeting different needs and empowering our immigrant friends and neighbors in unique ways. Explore these local nonprofits, learn about their missions, and choose where your support can create the most impact. Together, our collective efforts make this community stronger, safer, and more connected.
Voces Unidas is located in Glenwood Springs. With your donations, you can help connect families on the western slope with trusted local nonprofits for housing, food, mental health care, and other critical services, so families are not left to navigate the fallout of a detention alone. They also offer know your rights trainings and education of the members of the community and more.
Mountain Dreamers is located in Frisco, CO. Mountain Dreamers provides on the ground support for our friends and neighbors directly impacted by current detainment activities. They provide financial assistance for legal support and cost-of-living support.
CIRC is a statewide Coalition. They fill in the gaps for immigrant support in the state of Colorado. Through advocacy, legislation, education, and civic engagement CIRC works to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees by making Colorado a more welcoming, immigrant-friendly state.
